My memory (along with the rest of my brain) hasn’t been right since I got Glandular Fever when I was 15, but this is a new low…
Tuesday afternoons Wren has keyboard lessons after school with one of the teachers, who lives behind the school. Usually, I pick up Mr4 from preschool at 3, drive around the block a few times so he’ll go to sleep, and go home for a cuppa. Then at 4, I get him up and we go off to fetch our student musician from her teacher’s house.
Yesterday afternoon, I forgot. It was almost half past four when I heard a funny noise & glanced at the clock in the dining room. I still don’t know what the sound was, but I suddenly realised that I was waaaayy late for Wren!
Luckily, she had some food left from morning tea to tide her over and save her from starvation….
