This is how we relax at our house.
We’re too poor to afford furniture for the children, so they’re forced to recline in washing baskets, wearing frilly pink tutu’s.
Mr Bump’s basket recliner is green, because that’s his favourite colour, while Wren prefers to lounge in her blue one.
Tutu’s are provided by Thrift Shops R Us, and are available in a range of sizes and colours for children and adults.
You should see WonderHubby in his.

Alright, this is an awesome post, Jane! I love the way the background of your blog matches the Mr. Bump’s laundry basket, uh I mean recliner. Next week can we see Wonder Hubby’s picture? Please?

The tutu is what makes this one! I love it - we have recliners like that in our home, as well. I wonder why they work so much better this way rather than for the washing?

Carrie, if I showed that on here I would have to go with a totally different rating.

And Lex, the reason the washing baskets are used this way at our house is because I don’t wash.
We just wear our clothes until they get up and walk down the street by themselves.
I don’t know *what* you’re doing at your house…
Your son must have been a cat in his previous life. My Emily used to LOVE to sit in the laundry basket and go to sleep.

very cute - we have tubs for relaxing in around here and boxes - the baskets are all broken now.
Too funny! It’s been a long long time since my son was little enough to sit in a laundry basket but he also used to do that.
So Trish, this must look very posh and upmarket to your children?
My daughter loves playing in laundry baskets! She uses them as turtle shells, boats, cars, hideouts…and she’s eight! Good thing I use big laundry baskets;)
