Craft for Kidz Blog Carnival
I’ve been looking around on Blogcarnival, and there isn’t a carnival that features childrens’ craft projects.
Imagine that!
So I decided on the spur~of~the~moment to host one here @ Kidzarama on a monthly basis.
As anyone who has read about my fancy haircut will know, I am good at spur~of~the~moment.
I even received a compliment from Wren’s keyboard teacher when I picked her up. Before she knew I’d done it myself.
So, for those interested, the only rules are that your post must be about a craft project that:
(a) was made by a child or for a child
AND
(b) includes a photo of said craft
Feel free to share what your child loved most, plus how the craft was made, so that others can use your idea.
The deadline will be on the second Wednesday of each month, with entries to be posted two days later on the Friday.
You can register here at BlogCarnival.
And if anyone has some tips on creating a logo without any you~beaut programs, pleeeeeze let me know. ![]()

This is a great idea. This is exactly what I am into - someone who sees that what she really loves is NOT out there - and decides that it is time to follow what you love and just do it! More power to you - and if you need anything in order to make this a grand success - please feel free to drop me a note - I would love to help!

Hi Benny,
Thanks for the vote of confidence. I’m planning to ask for ideas on Blogcatalog about ways to publicise this, so I’m sure you’ll have some great ideas
How fun! Is it a linky carnival? I’m not familiar with the blogcarnival. I’ll have to check it out!
We are THAT family’s last blog post..Those Pesky Squirrels
Kristin, I’ll be posting more about this in the next couple of weeks.
But basically, instead of using Mr Linky, you submit your post (any date) at Blogcarnival.com and I review them in a post here, with lots of linklove included.
Check out this weeks edition of Make It From Scratch to get an idea of how it works.
My impoverished life doesn’t include children!
However would love to join in if that’s ok - perhaps with a feature about crafting for children? Please let me know what you think…

Kelleigh’s last blog post..Better Craft Photography
Kelleigh, you have a post about planning a tea party for mum & daughter.
That isn’t exactly craft, but it’s about parents spending time with their kids, so I’d love to include it.
That’s such a great idea!!! I would love to join if I have any post or even check out other bloggers for idea on my next project.
Thank you for checking out my blog. I normally submitted my post to a list of my favorite carnival. It’s not all the time but whenever I feel like I have good post to share.
Amy @ The Q Family’s last blog post..Cruising on the Blogsphere

@Amy & Kelleigh ~ Great! Two more for the list. I’ll keep you updated here!
@Robyn ~ Thanks for the offer of help, any ideas you have on how to make it better would be much appreciated!
Jane, do you consider Photoshop a you-beaut program? What operating system do you use? If you have something really straightforward in mind, I can create a GIF or a JPG for you.
Lin Mei Yap’s last blog post..Spicy sandy soup
Any program you have to pay for is you~beaut to me
Gotcha
Microsoft Paint is not that bad nowadays. And my offer still stands - if you have something concrete in mind that is easy for me to translate into Photoshop, I can send you a GIF/JPG.
Lin Mei Yap’s last blog post..Spicy sandy soup

Hi DinoEgg, Nice to meet you
If you’ve written a how~to post on making something crafty as a toy or decoration (etc) for your child, that can go in too.
It’s craft made by children or made for children.
Thanks Nicole, wish me luck!
Would my gourd post qualify for this? I’ll send the entry and you can decide.
Silvia’s last blog post..Last Call for CoH Articles
