- returned some trackpants that WonderHubby didn’t like,
- searched the local chemist stores for (and found) “our” brand of antihistamines,
- had pizza for lunch with my mother,
- picked up some great bargains at the op shop,
- borrowed some scrapbooking books from the local library
- before picking Mr Bump up from preschool,
- and then spent the afternoon cleaning up after Mr Bump’s progressive mess party.
Oh, and I went to the doctor’s, where she gave me the “all clear”.
I do not have breast cancer! ~Just a lumpy breast.
Great news, hunh?!
But the best part of the day was when I turned off the vacuum cleaner and heard Wren calling me from outside on the trampoline.
I was feeling pretty grumpy, what with all the mess my 4yo angel had created for me.
But then on the spur of the moment, I climbed on with her and we bounced together.
It took about 2 minutes for Mr Bump to come out to see what all the giggling was about.
And then we all bounced and giggled together.
I was too tired to make dinner after that, but when WonderHubby came home, he made a lovely dinner for us all.
It’s the little things that count.
I am truly blessed.

Great news -(Hugs) yes it is often the simple things in life like giggling with kids that makes us realise how lucky and blessed we are.
My little boys love it when I jump on the trampoline or anyone for that matter

My day was a bit like that too - sometimes stopping the mundane and having a little fun is good for the soul. Glad to hear the docotr gave you the all clear!

Thanks
It’s fabtastic!
You’re both right.
A scare really makes you look at what’s important, and it’s *not* the 1001 tiny pieces of polystyrene trampled into the rug.
That is fantastic news from your Doctor! Stupendous!
And the time together giggling and jumping is some of the best time you can enjoy!
Thank you Melissa, it’s a B.I.G. relief
