Celebrations and a giveaway…

Howdy y’all!

The Kidz have been watching SpongeBob (the Texas is Stupid episode), and I’ve gotten caught up in the phraseology. But Texans, please don’t get offended ’cause I don’t have an opinion either way about Texas.

So I believe I mentioned a celebratation? Well we’ve got plenty of reasons here in the UpsideDownHouse. No Carrie, I am not carrying your namesake in my blessed womb.

1. I had the joy of finding out yesterday morning that I was the lucky winner of a Blog Makeover, which you may already know.

2. Just after that, I received a call from a doctor who specialises in treating CFS patients. He lives in Melbourne, so he did a phone consultation with me and suggested a couple of things to try.
I’d given up looking for treatment until WonderHubby discovered this doctor through a workmate (the doctor is his father).

3. I emailed WonderHubby the news (both bits), and he decided to ring me with some news of his own.

Seems the WonderHubby is a WonderWorker too, because he’s just been promoted from “National Inventory Supervisor” to a newly~created position, “National Logistics Manager”. He’ll have extra staff under him, a pay~rise & The Biggie: Paid Overtime.
About time, as we could buy a Dior Cellphone with the unpaid overtime he has done so far. Almost, anyway.

With the world economy gurgling and drooling and going downhill the way it is, this is obviously very good news and. we. will. save. it. all. or. else.

We took the Kidz & Grandma out for dinner to Lone Star to celebrate last night.

But because there wasn’t room to invite you all (or y’all) to join us, I’m launching a giveaway later this week to share the good vibes. I need a bit of time to get organised here.
