A Bump on a Log
by Jane on Friday, 18th July 2008

Time for more firewood.

Mr Bump insisted on climbing up to the top of the huge pile of firewood that we had delivered today.

I didn’t mind, but I was just worried about his little feet in those not~so~practical~but~ever~so~stylish sandals.

It’s either fashion or safety, and we chose fashion today.

Usually he wears socks with them, too.

Yep, Mr Bump is a fashion icon in the making.
Georgio Armani should watch out.

The new label is Bump Designs.

Don’t worry too much about the foot safety, though.

He still has all eleven toes.

  1. I think little boys fashions are wonderful! My son frequently wears the funniest outfits I have ever seen … my seven year old dressed up very fancy for his great grandmothers funeral, dress pants, formal shirt and vest and MUD BOOTS … whatever makes them happy!

  4. lol. Nice. I think you are on to something with the bump designs. My son would buy them I’m sure. He changes more times a day than both my daughters combined. And ones a baby and spits up all the time!

  5. @Linda ~ No problems, I’m fine with Americanisms. We get heaps of US tv here in Australia.

But I may have to develop a glossary for Kidzarama so that everyone who comes for a sticky~beak or a squizz can understand what I’m rattling on about. ;)

@Laura ~ The new range of Bump Designs debuts in September, but if your son would like to send us his credit card details, I can get him a special sneak peek in August. :P

Why is it that boys can’t hold onto this interest in clothes when they become men?

  6. he is a cutie! I guess that says something about his personality doesn’t it - climbing mountians :)

  7. So…He’s a Bump on a Log? :) I was momentarily confused when you mentioned firewood…it’s 98 degrees outside where I am now. Well, duh…it’s summer here!

  8. What a cutie he is! Sometimes you just gotta pick fashion over safety right? LOL
