Yes, we have a huge collection of the above. Also lizards, moths, beetles and other assorted bugs.

To be fair, only about half of them ‘belong’ to 4yo Mr Bump. Wren collects her fair share, too.

Mr Bump’s other interests include ambidextrous, simultaneous-dual-nostril-nose-picking (and eating), parental butt-wiping and digging in the mud. All of which we have discouraged unsuccessfully so far.

Preschool is three days per week this year (which he loves, and so do I). Next year he will be off to ‘big school’ with Wren, and he’s looking forwards to that too.

~What is it about second children? He’s already breaking his neck to do homework of an afternoon with Wren (who has only just begun to do hers without a fight after two years).
