Kraft for Kidz Blog Carnival

Jun-23-2008 By Jane

Okay, so this is how it works.

1. You write a nice post on your blog about some craft that you or your child has done.
It might be a detailed how~to, a quick pic or something in between.

If you did the craft, then it must be something that will be used by or for a child.
We’re celebrating kids here. ;)

2. Then you go to blogcarnival and submit the link of your post here.
There are a few fields to fill out, but anyone who can understand their blog software should be able to handle those with no trouble.

3. You’ll receive an email from Blogcarnival, telling you that your post has been submitted for consideration. And I will too.

4. I take a quick squizz at your post and make sure it’s not about your private parts or anything else that wouldn’t be considered craft.

5. Then I send you an email letting you know I’ve accepted your post (or explaining why I don’t feel that your private parts are really appropriate here).
It may take me a few days to get around to looking at your private parts post, so please be patient.

6. There isn’t a button at the moment for you to put on your site.
It’s in the works, so keep your eyes open, as I’ll probably write a post about it.

7. The blog carnival itself consists of a post here at Kidzarama on the 10th of each month.
I will list the entries, with links to both the posts themselves and the home pages of the blogs concerned.
Plus I will put in a sentence or maybe two to describe or comment on each.

Here’s last month’s Kraft for Kidz carnival post, to give you an idea of what to expect.

8. Once I’ve published the carnival post each month, I’ll send out an email to past and present participants as a reminder.
That’s just so that everyone can come to have a look at each other’s posts, and hopefully make some new bloggy friends in the process. :)

Is that all clear enough? No?

Don’t worry about sounding like a dope, just email me and I’ll set you straight.

I’m the Queen of Dopey, so nothing you ask will be able to out~dope me…
