Plants Nearing Prime & Possibly Pneumonia
I’m going to try to keep this short today, because I’m off back to the doctor’s with this lousy cough, which has moved down into my chest and become quite painful.
That can’t be good, can it?
Pneumonia?
Well I doubt it, really, but the alliteration was just too tempting.
~Although strictly speaking it’s not really alliteration, is it?

So today I thought I’d just share with you a little activity that kept Mr Bump occupied while he was waiting for his tomato seeds to sprout.
By the way, on Sunday Mr Bump came racing into the dining room shouting
“The bees have pollinated the tomatoes! The bees have come and they’ve pollinated my tomato plants!”
Much excitement ensued, with a mad scramble for the back door and a detailed viewing and discussion of said tomato plants.
We counted roughly 8 tomatoes, with the largest being about 1cm (1/5 in) across. I say roughly 8 because while we all counted 8, Mr Bump counted 10.
Afterwards, I offered him some morning tea and was told very firmly that;
“I have to take care of them Mummy.” Patting leaves of beloved plants.
“Time to take care of them.” Pat. Pat. Pat.
“Forever.” Pat.
Extremely Sweet.

Well, that’s it from me for today and possibly tomorrow.
I’m off to take my rattley chest and achey muscles for another once-over and some more drugs antibiotics.
Then I’m going to cuddle up on the lounge with a glass of port my heat pack, some more drugs paracetamol and a trashy gossip magazine good book.
Hope the kids co-operate.
Wish me luck.
