A great big sloppy thank you kiss goes out today to Willow, who is responsible for my first ever tagging.
I feel like a moose or something.
And no comments about my back end, thank you. We had quite enough of that earlier this week.
As I said, my first thought was of animal tagging, and then I read about something new: Animal tags for people.
Sounds charming.
Is that what you have in mind for me, Willow?
Regardless, here are the 5 beautifully babbling bloggers that I have chosen to tag myself.
- Trish, for being such a lovely person.
- Tonya, because I know she’s going through a lot right now.
- Pauline, who is a very busy girl and needs more stuff to do like a hole in the head.
- Melisa, my amigurumi guru. ~ Go find out what that word means…
- Andrea, a blogging newbie who really needs to be corrupted by us crazies.
You have all been tagged, and should expect shortly to be sent to the Kidzarama wildlife preserve in Kenya.
And yes, I know the plural form of moose is moose.
But I still want to know what sound they make.

You are so fun! I am not so unusual, silly lady…. I had a corrupted life before. It was no fun. Empty…, sad…, hey, I was a lost soul who thought the world was spinning out of control. Good thing I became a Christian. I don’t know how I would made it through losing my mom’s death when I was 36. Much love to you, and keep on blogging; yeah, you, too!!

aww thank you so much .
I love your new header and look too.

I’m so relieved to have the whole makeover thing over with.
Shauna was lovely, but all those decisions and handing it over to someone else was nervewracking!
And I’m so glad you both saw that I’d tagged you, Andrea & Trish
It’s hard to describe the noise a moose makes. Maybe if you took a cow’s moo and made it sound really rough and warbly and rather sick, you’d come close.
A moose call (used for hunting) is really just a simple cone of (usually) birch bark, so it’s up to the caller to make the noise as realistic as possible, unlike deer calls and bird calls which generally come with “premade” sounds.
Another sound that moose make is scraping against tree trunks. If you ever come across a discarded moose antler in the fall (because they shed them once a year) you can scrape it up and down a tree and possibly attract a bellicose male looking for a fight. Not such a good idea unless you’re actually trying to hunt it.
Is your curiosity satisfied, yet?

Hm.. I’m not really sure what is it that I’m supposed to do…?

I should have been clearer, Melisa. Especially since I asked Willow the exact same question…
Guess I thought that you were smarter than me.
When you get the chance, just put the flower image into a post on your blog and link to five friends.
It’s just a fun, friendly way to share some great links and get to know people better.
~You were one of my great links.
